FOR AFGHANISTAN STUDENTS

There are many international students from Afghanistan studying in Ukraine at different universities with respect to their desired courses.

International students from Afghanistan come to join MBBS programs and some other programs too. Afghan students are not good at English, so they join a preparatory program in their first year to learn the Ukrainian language with science subjects, and upon completion of their preparatory course, they join their desired degree programs.

Most international students from Afghanistan are good at English.

ADMISSION PROCESS IN UKRAINE FOR STUDENTS FROM AFGHANISTAN

In Afghanistan, secondary school consists of 12 years of completion of education, and this is the requirement for all bachelor’s courses and also preparatory courses.

For master’s course admission, we require a bachelor’s degree from Afghan students, like for all other countries.

The admission process is the same as for other foreign nationals. First of all, international applicants scan their secondary school certificate copy with a passport copy to the admissions office in their email.

These documents are required for eligibility assessment, which takes 1-2 days to be assessed.

Eligible Afghan international applicants send their admission fee, and as we receive the admission fee, the processing time at the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, is 2 weeks.

After the issuance of an official study invitation by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, it is sent first by scan in the email of the international applicant and then couriered to the postal address of the applicant in Afghanistan for the visa application.

PROMINENT COURSES IN UKRAINE AMONG FOREIGN STUDENTS FROM AFGHANISTAN

1: GENERAL MEDICINE

Afghan international students come to Ukraine every year, especially for general medicine, and almost at every Ukrainian medical university, Afghan international students have a normal presence.

General medicine is offered in both mediums of instruction in Ukraine: English and Ukrainian.

Afghan international students who are good at English study their general medicine course in English as their medium of instruction in Ukraine.

Afghan international students who are not good at English choose to study a general medicine course in Ukrainian as the medium of instruction after a 10-month Ukrainian language course in Ukraine.

2: DENTISTRY

Afghan international students also come to Ukraine for dentistry courses, and in Ukraine, at every national medical university, Afghan international students have a normal presence.

In Ukraine, dentistry is available in both Ukrainian and English.

Afghan international students who are not good at English study dentistry courses in Ukrainian as their medium of instruction after a 10-month Ukrainian language course.

Afghan international students who are good at English study for 5 years in Ukraine for their dentistry programs directly in English as their medium of instruction.

Ukraine always welcomes Afghan international students at dentistry faculties due to their good academic history in Ukraine.

3: PHARMACY

Pharmacy is a very popular medical course among international students from Afghanistan, and every year, Afghan international medical students come to Ukraine to join pharmaceutical faculties.

In Ukraine, pharmacy is available in both Ukrainian and English.

Afghan international students with good knowledge of the English language study in Ukraine for their pharmacy courses directly in English as their medium of instruction.

Afghan international students who are not good at English study their pharmacy courses in Ukraine once they have a diploma of Ukrainian language from one of the Ukrainian universities.

Afghan international students have always been studying at pharmaceutical faculties in Ukraine, and Ukraine accepts them positively.

4: NURSING

A few Afghan international medical students come to Ukraine to study nursing courses.

In Ukraine, nursing is available in both Ukrainian and English.

Afghan international medical students study nursing at both degree levels in Ukraine: bachelor’s and master’s in nursing.

After the completion of nursing courses from one of the national medical universities in Ukraine, Afghan international students practice anywhere in the world due to the recognition of Ukrainian nursing degrees globally.

Afghan international students study nursing for 2-year diploma courses in Ukraine, and they also study nursing for 4 years and become full graduates in nursing.

5: MASTERS

Almost all courses in Ukraine are offered at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels, and Afghan international students come to study different courses at the master’s level in Ukraine.

There are Afghan nationals who complete their bachelor’s in Ukraine and then start studying for their master’s in Ukraine.

Many Afghan international students complete their bachelor’s degrees abroad and then apply for admission to Ukraine at graduate faculties.

A master’s degree program is offered mostly in English as the medium of instruction, but many master’s programs are offered in Ukrainian as the medium of instruction only.

Afghan international students with good knowledge of English join their master’s programs in Ukraine directly in English as their medium of instruction, provided their desired master’s courses are offered in English.

UKRAINE STUDY VISA PROCESS FOR AFGHANISTAN NATIONALS

As a foreign student receives his/her original study invitation at his/her address in Afghanistan, they prepare documents for the visa support and apply for a visa at the Ukrainian embassy in Pakistan or Tajikistan, as those are the nearest embassies of Ukraine to Afghanistan.

A confirmation of the admission is directly sent to the relevant embassy through the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT EMBASSY FOR UKRAINE STUDENT VISA FOR AFGHANISTAN NATIONALS

1: Original study invitation by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine

2: Valid Travel Passport

3: Educational Certificates

4: Birth Certificate

5: Medical fitness certificate by any MBBS doctor with his/her stamp & sign.

6: Return Air Ticket

7: Bank Statement for approximately $5000-$10000

8: Duly Filled Visa Form

8: Photographs, Passport Size 10

Once the applicant receives a student visa for Ukraine from the embassy of Ukraine, he/she scans us his/her visa copy with the return air ticket, as our staff need to prepare their reception documents for immigration.

Once everything is ready, then the foreign students depart, and our staff members receive them at the airport.

Please note that all original documents that are presented for a visa at the embassy of Ukraine, international students must bring with them the complete first-year tuition pack.

Missing any document or not having a complete first-year tuition pack will result in deportation.
