MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTIONS
Kharkiv national medical university offer all medical degree courses in English medium of instructions for those foreign students who are good at English.
Those foreign students who come from Arabic and French speaking countries study first year at preparatory faculty and than start their medical courses in Russian medium of instructions.
Most of the foreign students come to study general medicine at Kharkiv national medical university and many arrive for other medical courses.
Kharkiv national medical university has the brilliant English speaking teaching staff which make for foreign students very comfortable during their medical studies.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AT KNMU
As we mentioned earlier that from every corner of the world foreign students come to study at Kharkiv national medical university so most of the foreign students come from African and Asian region.
African students present their secondary school certificate with travel passport copy for assessment by scan in the Email of admission office (ukrainianacademies@gmail.com) and these African students must have studied Chemistry and Biology or integrated sciences at school.
Asian students must present their 12 Years schooling certificate which is called 10+2 or intermediate with travel passport copy for admission assessment.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS STUDYING AT KNMU
Nigerian and Ghanaian students are always in the most numbers studying always at Kharkiv national medical university and these students from Nigeria and Ghana always prefer to study their general medicine program in English medium of instructions as official languages in Nigeria and Ghana is English.
Namibian,Cameroonian and Zambian students also come to study at Kharkiv national medical university every year and like Nigerian and Ghanaian students these students from Namibia,Cameroon and Zambia also study their general medicine and other medical courses in English medium of instructions.
Many students also arrive from Cameroon,Tunis and Egypt and normally these students from Morocco,Egypt and Tunis study their general medicine and other medical courses in Russian medium of instructions after 10 Months preparatory course.
Among Asian students Indian and Pakistani students are in the most numbers studying at Kharkiv national medical university and these students from India and Pakistan also study their general medicine course in English medium of instructions even their official language is not English.
ACCOMMODATION FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
Kharkiv national medical university has a network of modernly renovated hostels for foreign students where these international students reside during their academic period.
These university hostels are fully equipped with all modern world facilities like internet,laundry,heating system,Kitchen,baths and toilets.
These foreign students live in a sharing room and in each room 3 students live.
