DEGREE LEVELS FOR ANIMATION AT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES

The animation courses are offered at two degree levels in Ukraine at engineering institutes located in different cities.

1: UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN ANIMATION

An undergraduate degree in animation is offered for 4 years at all national engineering universities for foreign and national students.

In the first year, foreign students study at a preparatory faculty for the Ukrainian language, and then after a 10-month Ukrainian language course, foreign students study for their undergraduate degrees in animation for 4 years.

2: MASTERS IN ANIMATION

A good number of foreign students also come to study animation at technical universities for a master’s program.

Foreign students study in their first year at a Ukrainian language faculty and then start their master’s degree program, provided these foreign students already have an undergraduate degree in the animation or computer science field.

The tuition fee for animation courses in Ukraine is affordable for foreign students with a high standard of education at these technical institutes.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTIONS IN UKRAINE FOR ANIMATION DEGREE COURSES

The animation courses in Ukraine are offered for foreign students in Ukrainian as the medium of instruction after a 10-month Ukrainian language course at one of the national engineering universities.

This preparatory course before starting the animation degree program enables foreign students to easily study for their animation courses in Ukrainian as the medium of instruction.

Foreign students who already know the Ukrainian language well may start their animation degree programs directly without a preparatory course.

For example, Nigerian international students are brilliant at English, but they do not know the Ukrainian language, so in their first year, Nigerian international students study at a preparatory faculty and then start their bachelor’s or master’s degrees in animation at one of the national technical universities.

International Ghanaian students also love to study animation courses in Ukraine, so in their first year, Ghanaian international students also study at a preparatory faculty and then start studying for their animation degree courses.

Cameroonian international students also study the animation courses after a 10-month Ukrainian language course.

Zambian international students are also good at English, but they do not know the Ukrainian language, so in their first year, Zambian international students study at a preparatory faculty and then start their animation programs.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS AT ANIMATION FACULTIES

Foreign students who have already passed their secondary school may join animation courses in Ukraine.

Indian and Pakistani nationals are required to have a 12-year educational certificate with them to study animation at one of the national engineering universities owned by the government of Ukraine.
