DEGREE LEVELS FOR ARCHAEOLOGY AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITIES
1: Undergraduate degrees in archaeology
Foreign students join undergraduate degrees in Ukraine to study archaeology once they have a secondary school certificate.
An undergraduate degree in archaeology consists of 4 years at national universities.
2: Masters in archaeology
A master’s degree in archaeology is offered for those foreign and national students who already have an undergraduate degree with them.
A master’s degree in archaeology consists of 2 years.
ADMISSION PROCESS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS IN UKRAINE AT ARCHAEOLOGY FACULTIES
As already mentioned, foreign students may apply for admission in Ukraine for an undergraduate degree after passing secondary school.
For example, Nigerian international students who have passed their secondary school in Nigeria or abroad are eligible to apply for admission to archaeology faculties.
International Nigerian students who already have an undergraduate degree may apply for admission in Ukraine for a master’s program.
Ghanaian international students are also eligible for admission at archaeology faculties in Ukraine once they have passed their secondary school in Ghana or abroad.
For a master’s degree in archaeology, international Ghanaian students present their bachelor’s degree too for admission.
Cameroonian international students also require the same qualifications for admission to archaeology faculties.
International Zambian students may also apply for archaeology degree programs in Ukraine with the same admission requirements as Nigerian and Ghanaian international applicants.
Admissions for international students are issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.
UKRAINE STUDENT VISAS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
Once admitted, foreign students receive their official study invitation letters issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, complete the visa file, and submit it at Ukraine visa centers in their countries.
Within 2 weeks, a Ukraine study visa is issued, and applicants scan their visa copy with a return air ticket to admissions staff, as they are required to process their reception documents for immigration at international airports in Ukraine.
