WHERE TO STUDY CHEMISTRY IN UKRAINE?

WHAT DEGREE LEVELS ARE TAUGHT IN UKRAINE FOR CHEMISTRY?

Chemistry courses are offered at 2 degree levels in Ukraine.

1: Undergraduate program for chemistry

A huge number of international students arrive in Ukraine every year to study an undergraduate chemistry program, and this program is offered for 4 years at national Ukrainian universities.

2: Master’s degree in chemistry

The second degree is offered for 2 years at the Ukrainian national universities and is called a master’s degree in chemistry.

To study for a master’s degree program, also a good number of foreign students come to Ukraine and join master’s degree programs.

WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY CHEMISTRY IN UKRAINE?

To study for an undergraduate chemistry degree program, which is offered for 4 years at Ukrainian institutes, foreign students should have with them a secondary school certificate.

Suppose a Nigerian international student wants to study in Ukraine for an undergraduate chemistry program; then he/she should have a secondary school certificate.

International Nigerian students who have completed their bachelor’s degree in Nigeria or abroad may qualify for admission to national universities and may join a master’s degree in chemistry.

International Ghanaian students also require a secondary school certificate for admission to an undergraduate chemistry program in Ukraine at national universities.

For a master’s degree program in chemistry, Ghanaian international students require a bachelor’s degree to be presented for admission to a national university.

Cameroonian international students require the same qualification to study chemistry courses in Ukraine as Nigerian and Ghanaian international students.

Zambian international students are also required to send their secondary school certificate from Zambia if they want to study an undergraduate chemistry program in Ukraine.

For a master’s degree in chemistry, Zambian international students also require a bachelor’s degree, no matter whether they passed their bachelor’s degree in Zambia or abroad.

HOW DOES THE ADMISSION PROCESS WORK FOR STUDYING CHEMISTRY PROGRAMS IN UKRAINE?

International students who want to study an undergraduate or graduate program in chemistry at Ukrainian institutes should scan their educational documents with a travel passport copy in the email of the admissions office mentioned below for eligibility assessment.

Within 2 days, the admission assessment is completed, and all eligible foreign students are sent an email confirming their admission.

All foreign students, no matter from which country, send their admission fee and scan the admission fee transfer receipt to the admissions office in Ukraine.

The admissions staff sends their admission documents to the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, and within two weeks, their official admission letters are issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.

Once issued, the admission letters are sent by courier service to the foreign applicants in their country for the processing of their Ukraine student visas.
