STUDY COMPUTER SCIENCE IN UKRAINE 2025-2026

WHERE TO STUDY COMPUTER SCIENCE IN UKRAINE?

Computer science degrees are offered at bachelor’s and master’s degree levels in Ukraine at all technical universities.

A bachelor’s degree consists of 4 years for all national or international students, while a master’s degree in computer science consists of 2 years in Ukraine. At some technical universities, this master’s degree consists of 1 year, provided a foreign student has completed his/her computer science program in Ukraine at any national university.

MEDIUMS OF INSTRUCTION FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE COURSES IN UKRAINE

International students with good knowledge of English study their computer science programs directly in English as their medium of instruction in Ukraine, while those foreign students who are not good at English study their computer science programs after a 10-month Ukrainian language program with science subjects.

Foreign students may choose the language of instruction for them.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE DEGREE PROGRAMS

The admission requirements for computer science courses in Ukraine are a secondary school certificate and a travel passport.

All foreign students who have passed their secondary school may scan their certificate with a travel passport copy in the email of admissions staff for admission assessment.

Master’s degree applicants are required to scan their bachelor’s degree too for admission.

This admission assessment process takes 2 days, and foreign applicants are informed about their admission possibilities.

Foreign students who are found eligible send their admission fee and scan transfer receipt in the same admissions office email.

Once the admission staff receives the admission fee receipt scanned copy, their documents are forwarded to the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, for the issuance of an official study invitation.

This issuance process at the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, takes 2 weeks, and an original invitation is sent to the address of the foreign applicant in their homeland for the visa processing.

Foreign students who are not found eligible on academic grounds are asked to scan more supportive documents for the completion of their admission process.
