DEGREE LEVELS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING IN UKRAINE

Environmental engineering programs are offered at bachelor’s and master’s degree levels.

1: BACHELOR IN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

A bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering is offered at Ukrainian national universities for 4 years, and foreign students study in their first year at a preparatory faculty and then study their undergraduate environmental engineering programs.

2: MASTERS IN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

A master’s degree in environmental engineering consists of 2 years in Ukraine at national universities for both national and foreign students.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR STUDYING ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING IN UKRAINE

To study for a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, foreign students submit their secondary school certificate copy.

For example, a Nigerian international student who has passed his/her secondary school in Nigeria or abroad may apply for admission to environmental engineering undergraduate faculties.

Ghanaian international students also submit their secondary school certificate for admission to undergraduate environmental engineering faculties.

Cameroonian international students also submit the same educational certificate copy as Nigerian and Ghanaian international students to study at environmental engineering undergraduate faculties.

Zambian international students who have passed their secondary school may apply for admission to undergraduate faculties in Ukraine.

Indian international students are required to send their 12-year certificate copy for admission to undergraduate faculties for environmental engineering.

Pakistani international students are also required to submit the same educational certificate as Indian international students.

For a master’s degree in environmental engineering, all international students are required to already have a bachelor’s degree, and it does not make any difference whether they passed their bachelor’s degree in Ukraine or abroad.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

The admission procedure is quite easy to follow for foreign students.

Interested international students scan their educational documents with a passport copy to admissions staff for admission evaluation, which takes 2 days.

All eligible foreign applicants are sent an eligibility email and letter confirming their admission to environmental engineering faculties.

Eligible international students send their admission fee and wait two weeks for an official study invitation from the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.

Once it is issued, the admissions office sends this official study invitation issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, to the foreign applicant in his/her country for Ukrainian student visa processing.
