DEGREE LEVELS FOR HISTORY COURSES IN UKRAINE
History is offered at two degree levels in Ukraine: bachelor’s and master’s.
1: BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN HISTORY
A bachelor’s degree in history is offered at Ukrainian universities, consists of 4 years, and foreign students come every year to study at these undergraduate faculties.
2: MASTER’S DEGREE IN HISTORY
A master’s degree in history is also offered at many national universities under the Ministry of Education, Ukraine.
A master’s degree consists of 2 years at national universities.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR STUDYING HISTORY IN UKRAINE
As mentioned above, there are two degree levels offered in Ukraine for history programs; foreign students come to study at both degree levels.
Foreign students who want to study for an undergraduate degree in history at national universities in Ukraine should present their secondary school certificate; for a few Asian nationals, the required qualification differs for undergraduate admission.
Suppose an Indian international student is required to have an intermediate certificate for admission to undergraduate faculties in Ukraine.
Pakistani international students also present the same intermediate certificate copy for admission to undergraduate faculties.
Nigerian international students are required to submit their secondary school certificate for admission to undergraduate faculties.
For a master’s degree in history, international Nigerian students present their bachelor’s degree for admission.
Ghanaian international students also send their copy of secondary school certificate for admission to undergraduate faculties of history.
A bachelor’s degree is required for admission by the Ghanaian international students to graduate faculties of history.
Cameroonian international students also present the same qualifications for both undergraduate and graduate programs in history as Nigerian and Ghanaian international students.
Zambian international students are required to send their secondary school certificate copy for admission to undergraduate faculties.
For a master’s degree in Ukraine, international Zambian students send their bachelor’s degree for assessment.
ADMISSION PROCESS IN UKRAINE FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS TO HISTORY FACULTIES
All international students scan their educational documents and international traveling passport copy for admission evaluation, and within 2 days, this process is completed.
Eligible international students are informed by an email about their assessment results.
Eligible international applicants send their admission fee and wait for two weeks, as the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, processes the official admission letter within two weeks and hands it over to the admissions staff.
The admissions staff sends this official admission letter issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, to foreign applicants for their Ukraine study visa issuance.
