Where to study law in Ukraine?

Law is considered a very sensitive subject in Ukraine, even all over the world, and Ukraine emphasizes these degree programs a lot. Law degree programs are offered at national universities in Ukraine with highly professional teaching staff specialized in the field of law.

Foreign students who come from the countries where the national language is not English, and they are not good at English, join a preparatory course in their first year in Ukraine. This is a 10-month Ukrainian language course at national universities.

Upon completing their 10-month Ukrainian language course, they join their law degrees in Ukraine.

FROM WHICH COUNTRIES DO MOSTLY FOREIGN STUDENTS COME TO STUDY LAW IN UKRAINE?

International students come to study law at national universities in Ukraine from every country, but most foreign students come from the Asian and African countries, and many come from the ex-Soviet states too.

Law is a very popular program among Algerian international students, and international students from Algeria come to study law at universities in Ukraine every year, and they study their law degree programs after a 10-month Ukrainian language course, as their official languages are French and Arabic.

Angolan international students also come to study law programs every year in Ukraine in small numbers, and international Angolan students also study in their first year at a Ukrainian language faculty and then start their degree programs.

Benin nationals also come to study their law courses in Ukraine in small numbers every year.

Burundi nationals also come to study in small numbers in their law degree programs.

Botswana nationals come to study their law courses every year in Ukraine, and Botswana nationals prefer to study law at Ukrainian universities in English.

Comoros nationals also join Ukrainian universities in small numbers to study law courses.

Ivory Coast nationals come in good numbers to study law courses in Ukraine, and Ivory Coast nationals in their first year study at a Ukrainian language faculty and then study their law degree programs in Ukrainian as their medium of instruction.

Congolese international students come in good numbers to study law degree programs in Ukraine, and their official language is French. In their first year, international Congolese students study at a Ukrainian language faculty and then start their law studies.

Djibouti nationals come in small numbers to Ukraine to study law programs every year.

Ethiopian international students come in good numbers to study law courses in Ukraine, and international students from Ethiopia prefer to study their law programs in English.

Eritrean international students come every year to study law courses at Ukrainian universities.

Swaziland nationals come in good numbers to study law degrees in Ukraine, and international students from Swaziland prefer to study their law courses in English.

Liberian international students come in good numbers to study law degree programs in Ukraine, and international students from Liberia are accepted positively due to their academic history in Ukraine.

From Bahrain, many foreign students come to study in Ukraine at law universities, and most foreign students coming from Bahrain are normally nationals of India and Pakistan.

Iranian international students come in good numbers every year to study their law courses in Ukraine, and international Iranian students in their first year study a Ukrainian language course and then start their law degree programs. Iranian international students are issued Ukrainian student visas by the Ukrainian embassy in Iran.

Iraqi international students also come to study law courses in Ukraine, and international Iraqi students in their first year study at a Ukrainian language faculty and then join their law faculties.

Israeli international students are studying in good numbers at law faculties in Ukraine, and international Israeli students are welcomed warmly at universities in Ukraine.

From Qatar, many foreign students come every year to Ukraine to study law courses, and most foreign students coming from Qatar are normally nationals of India and Pakistan.

From Saudi Arabia, many international students come to study law courses in Ukraine, and normally, international students from Saudi Arabia are the nationals of other Asian and African countries.

Turkish international students come in huge numbers to Ukraine every year to study law courses, and international Turkish students in their first year study at a Ukrainian language faculty and then start their law degree courses.

From the United Arab Emirates, many foreign students come to study law courses at bachelor’s and master’s degree levels in Ukraine, and normally, foreign students arriving from the United Arab Emirates are nationals of other Asian and African countries.

From Yemen, a few international students arrive in Ukraine every year to study law degree programs, and international students from Yemen normally study all their courses in Ukrainian as their medium of instruction after a 10-month Ukrainian language course.

Nigerian international students love to study law, and they come in good numbers to study law courses in Ukraine at national universities.

They prefer Ukrainian universities to other European universities for law courses because of the affordable tuition fees in Ukraine and the quality education.

At all national universities in Ukraine, Nigerian international students are studying law courses, and they are brilliant at their studies.

Ghanaian international students also come to study law courses in Ukraine at national universities, and they study their law courses in English.

Ghanaian international students are very good at their studies, and due to their previous academic record at national universities in Ukraine, they are welcomed.

Cameroonian international students also come to Ukraine to study law courses at national universities, but they study law courses in Ukraine in two languages. Cameroonian international students who come from the French-speaking region study their law courses after a 10-month preparatory course for Ukrainian language, while Cameroonian international students who come from the English-speaking region study their law courses in English.

Indian international students study their law courses in Ukraine at many national universities, and they prefer to study their law courses in English, as they are normally good at English.

Indian international students are the most numerous among all foreign students at universities in Ukraine and at every faculty.

At almost every national university in Ukraine, Pakistani international students are studying different courses, including law.

Egyptian international students are in good numbers who come to study law in Ukraine at different national universities, and they study law courses in Ukraine in both mediums: Ukrainian and English.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR LAW APPLICANTS IN UKRAINE

International students who want to study for their law degrees in Ukraine scan their secondary school certificate with an international passport copy for eligibility assessment. These required copies of documents are scanned in the email of the admissions staff.

These documents are assessed by the admissions staff, and foreign applicants are sent an email notification about their eligibility or ineligibility.

Eligible foreign applicants send their admission fee and scan the admission fee receipt to the admissions staff in their email.

Ineligible international students are requested to send more documents for the completion of their admission process.

Once admissions staff receives the admission fee receipt copy in the email, their documents are forwarded to the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, for the issuance of an official study invitation, which is required for the visa processing at the Ukraine Visa Centers.

UKRAINIAN STUDENT VISAS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS 

Once foreign applicants receive their study invitation issued by the Ministry of Education, Ukraine, they submit their visa files at the Ukraine Visa Center in their country and collect their visas from the same visa center.

Ukraine has established its national visa centers in almost all countries, and now foreign students obtain their Ukraine study visas without physical appearance at the embassies of Ukraine.
